This is a lovely hotel very near to the train station with lots of restaurants next to it. Its also very conveniently to go to the bus station up to the citadel. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. They even helped us get a really good guide for our visit to the incan city. Highly recommended

Property has a wonderful view of the river and polite and helpful staff. We only had a minor issue with the towels for our room were very damp and when we requested replacements, those were damp also. This could just have been a one off situation. The Mountain view faces the train tracks and new construction that is underway on the other side of the tracks so try and book River view if it’s available.

This was a great stay, the highlight is definitely the river views. The breakfast was great. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and while it was good, it was slow and overpriced. The only real disappointment was that I was looking forward to using the hot tub after a day at macchu Picchu and they wanted to charge me $100 an hour. I never saw that while booking. Of course I said no, but it was a huge bummer. Great location, 5 minute walk from
Train station.

The hotel was very nice - lovely ambiance with the running water in the background. Great location! The room was clean - bathroom seemed the most outdated (in terms of style). The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We enjoyed speaking with "Mike" - he was cheerful and interesting to chat with over breakfast. I'd like to recognize Monica at the front desk. She was delightful and so helpful to us and our special request to check in early and meet our Machu Picchu guide, etc. She was very busy both days we saw her but she handled the pressure with ease. You'll be in great care with her!
